by Jacob Mielson

A common tool for promotions and advertising in corporate design are brochures and booklets. These small books or magazines can be found anywhere from conference halls, to offices, to waiting rooms. The contents of these booklets can vary and may contain annual reports about the company or show off the portfolio of an artist. CD's and DVD's sometimes contain brochures, but they are generally given away free.

Whichever the alternative, pamphlets are promotional materials. Because they are generally brief - at most 25 to 30 pages - they should have an attractive appearance and lots of information to concentrate readers' attention and successfully get the message across. It's too bad that so few of them are actually meticulously designed. Nevertheless, you have numerous choices for styles that display creativity and reader appeal.
