Using Free Autoresponders - How do you do that?

by Jeff Shemin

you can easily use an auto responder to help you. These thoughts may have already occurred to you if you have been sourcing online, reasonably priced autoresponders. You may be just starting out and not want to put money into that end of things for now. Using free autoresponders is acceptable in a few situations; however the old adage, "You get what you pay for" rings true for this also. If you have a choice between using something for free, or not having it at all, well then why wouldn't you use the free autoresponder?

The first option available to you should be using free autoresponders that come with your webhosting accounts. The webhosting service is the location of your domain. Use the control panel for easy access to your webhosting account and arrange your autoresponder series at this point. If you have your own account autoresponder you not have advertising when you send a message. Now you may not have a webhosting account, and so do not have the option of using its autoresponder, or maybe your webhost does not offer autoresponding. If that is the case, then don't worry, there are other places to go.

Use your favorite online search engine, such as Google or Yahoo. Just type in "Free autoresponder" or "Using free auto responder". Many companies that give the service will be at your hand. The company will still make money, even though the services are free to you, because they will have advertising that will be sent out with your messages. Based on the company you use , the small add they attach would be present on the top or bottom of the message, everytime you send it.

Initially, you could notice that insignificant ads on your e-mails will not bother anyone. You may not want to do this if the small ads, attached to every message your potential client receives from you, compete with what you're selling. Some of your future customers might find an ad annoying and not professional although it might not be an ad that is competing with you.

you have to pay for may offer a free service with limited use. It would behoove you to investigate these as well. If it's important to you, be sure to ask whether a free autoresponder will add content to your message or advertisement. The trial or free autoresponder services often will not have the same options and features that the paid version of the same service provides. In case you do not require those advanced options or are unable to afford it,then this would be a suitable choice.

Free autoresponders will normally limit the number of subscribers you can add to your account. When your first beginning its ok to go with the free services and when you reach your limit you can upgrade and your information will be transferred. This seems pretty reasonable if it's addressed as a business transaction. It lets you build your list; make a profit before you have to expend more money.

You own the business and it is you that decides what you will need and when. Sit back and look at the big picture, your objectives and roadmap before making all these important choices. If you have no list or it is very small, then a free autoresponder should do every thing that you need it to. Upgrading should be pondered when more traffic is displayed. If you own your own business it is your choice to make things from or paid.
